Slate Beautifully Enhanced
Problem
Our clients in Briarcliff, TX were preparing to place their beautiful home on the market and wanted their slate floors, which occupied the majority of the floor plan, to be showcased. Unfortunately, their slate had a dull, dirty appearance. This slate was very porous, so it was difficult to keep clean, in its natural state.
Solution
First, we thoroughly cleaned the slate tiles and grout. After allowing the floor to dry for about 24 hours, we applied a a color-enhancing topical sealer that really made the natural shade and tone variances in the stone to POP. Then we applied a second coat to provide a higher gloss level and achieve the look the clients wanted. The beautiful slate floors, no doubt, helped our clients attain a quick sale of their home.
